Pretty similar affair to the other album except maybe the arrangements are a bit more refined what with all its jazz-rock fusion leanings. Some of it sounds like they were on the cusp of some underground hit, as if they're building towards some exceptional hook or something, but ultimately it doesn't happen. The closest they come is probably 'Let Love Speak For Itself'. I don't come away from the album with a memorable experience.

(That's more to do with the songwriting than the arranging.) So. A nice effort that falls short of its intended goal.

With just about everything in place for a solid soft rock album, Sad Cafe's Misplaced Ideals comes up short in the most crucial area: memorable songs. Deadlands reloaded 4shared.

If you want to try something more memorable then check out Bliss Band's debut album. I'll send you the best tracks if you'd like.
