Install Hadoop On Windows Without Cygwin Commands List

I encountered this problem after I installed Git, added it's bin to my PATH, then installed Cygwin and ran ssh-host-config to setup a Windows service for sshd. The problem seems to be that the way ssh-host-config registers the service causes sshd to invoke Git's bash (or scp, or ssh-provided command) executable rather than Cygwin's in the process of setting up an scp connection. To fix this, I removed the service as installed by ssh-host-config. From Cygwin bash, I executed cygrunsrv -R sshd. Then I re-registered the service with a PATH variable override, cygrunsrv -I sshd -d 'CYGWIN sshd' -p '/usr/sbin/sshd' --env 'PATH=/usr/bin:/bin:/cygdrive/c/WINDOWS/system32:/cygdrive/c/WINDOWS:$PATH' -a '-D' -u -w where priv_user is probably cyg_server.

And this time gave the account with which I have logged into my Windows as the CYGWIN environment variable. Sshd is working fine now. Currently am downloading the hadoop release.

Will there be a revolutionary change in performance?:D It would be nice if some member of the forum could give a short explanation of the dependencies of the different systems (Win7 64-bit - Java 64-bit - Geogebra) Cheers Werner. Jdk 7u11 windows x64 exercises. Do I have to change some settings on my PC to get used the 64 bit Version of Java? Hi After several attempts I manged the installation of Java 7 Update 11 (64 bit) and Java 7 Update 11 (32). At first I couldn't start the Java-control-Panel.

I'm new to cygwin and hadoop, please anyone could explain • which mirror link is the proper to install cygwin • what version of hadoop is bug free (.sh works good ) • is it must to run below commands before running ssh-host-config • $ chmod +r /etc/passwd • $ chmod u+w /etc/passwd • $ chmod +r /etc/group • $ chmod u+w /etc/group • $ chmod 755 /var • $ touch /var/log/sshd.log • $ chmod 664 /var/log/sshd.log or • for ssh-host-config what all options should i give yes and no for running sshd service and hadoop proper • 'Please enter the password for user 'cyg_server'? ' if i do configuration does it necessary to login with cyg_server user id, else for running hadoop all.sh asking for password and the given password is not accepting too. • once i tried to connect, I could do till all process to run, tried to connect through Eclipse, but it shows connection failed to localhost.

Windows

Till now I was going through different tutorials, if cygwin part goes fine then will get issue with hadoop, else get stuck with cygwin itself. If any one could guide right way, will be helpful and even could give suggestions.
